Q3 Market Report

The market is strengthening this summer and fall related to single family homes in the Telluride Mountain Village. Nine residences have closed since June 1st with total gross dollar sales of $35.2M and at an average sold price of $3.9M and an average PSF of $671.This data is vastly improved over the same period of 2018 where 6 homes transacted (totaling $11.5M), at an average price of $1.9M and average PSF of $525. This represents a tripling of dollar volume and a value increase of 27%. There were no residences transacted September through EOY 2018 while the MLS reports currently $26.5M in pending sales. Also of note, three homes transacted in excess of $6,000,000 with 2 of 3 at an average PSF of $847.

Winter Air Schedule Announced

For the first time, this fall, flights will run daily through October and November from Chicago (ORD). Also included through the winter will be daily flights from Denver (DEN) and Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW). American Airlines has announced the addition of New York / La Guardia (LGA) on Saturdays. This connection will replace American’s previous Charlotte – MTJ service.
